RISD Celebrates International Education Week (IEW)
Symposium
International Education Week (IEW) – November 16-20, 2020 – is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
RISD students, you are invited you to participate in a social media campaign (Instagram and Facebook) that we're launching for IEW to highlight experiences of living and studying in a country that is different from your country of citizenship or country of residence. This includes:
- students from outside of the U.S. studying at RISD
- U.S. students who have participated in global travel programs
- students who may be studying abroad in the U.S., but who also participated in a global program in a different country other than the U.S. or your home country
If you have any questions, please contact the RISD Global (global@risd.edu), the Office of International Student Services (oiss@risd.edu), or Intercultural Student Engagement (ise@risd.edu).
