International Education Week - East Asian Names: History, Culture and Pronunciation Workshop
Workshop
In celebration of International Education Week, RISD is offering East Asian Names: History, Culture and Pronunciation Workshop with guest lecturer Xiangli Ding.
Xiangli Ding is a historian of modern East Asia and environmental history teaching at RISD. With nearly a fifth of students with an Asian background studying at RISD, it is important to help our campus community fully understand proper pronunciation of the names of our students, peers and fellow colleagues. This workshop is open to all RISD and Brown students, staff and faculty.
