Call for Proposals: Global Summer Studios 2020

For summer 2020, all RISD faculty, full- and part-time- are invited to present a proposal for a 3-week off-campus course to be offered between June 3rd and July 24th, 2020.

Faculty choose to apply either for a course at the RISD in Rome site or for a course in another location in the world.

Deadline for proposals is Monday, October 21st, 2019.

Global Summer Studios proposals are open to all RISD full- and part-time faculty, who submit by the posted deadline. It is required that the faculty member proposing the course have strong familiarity with the location, and a strong preference is given to those applicants with demonstrated experience teaching students in a travel course environment.

Please note: For faculty new to the experience of teaching students off-campus, our site in Rome is the best alignment for summer.
