Programs + Courses

HDK offers several Bachelor's-level and Master's-level programs within the field of Design, Crafts and Applied Art, which are open to exchange. When you apply for exchange studies to HDK, you must choose only one of the available HDK programs. If you are accepted for exchange studies at HDK, you will follow the set courses within the program of your choice. In some cases, an individual study-plan will be conducted upon arrival.

Language of Instruction

In most of the HDK Bachelor's programs the official language of instruction is Swedish. However, most students, teachers and staff speak very good English and a summary of the different projects and courses can be given to you in English. Your tutoring sessions will also be held in English. The official language of instruction in the BA program in Metal Art, as well as in all of the HDK MA programs, is English.
