About Konstfack

Language

Courses at Konstfack are instructed in Swedish language, but international students will receive explanations and instructions in English, which is spoken by most teachers and students at Konstfack. If the majority of students in a class are exchange students, the instruction will sometimes switch to English.

As an exchange student, you are not required to have any Swedish language ability to be admitted for studies at Konstfack, but you must have a good command of English. For a successful exchange experience, basic Swedish language ability is strongly recommended.

Note: The following programs are available in Fall semester only and will not admit exchange students during Spring semesters: Ceramics, Glass, Graphic Design, Illustration, and Textiles.
