Call for Applications: EHP Resident Fellow

Calling all RISD European Honors Program (EHP) alumni and other interested applicants with intimate knowledge of Rome: Applications are open for our 2020/2021 EHP Resident Fellow position at the RISD European Honors Program (EHP). Apply by February 14th.⁠

This is a one-year competitive fellowship at Rhode Island School of Design’s site in Rome, Italy, beginning July/August 2020. Preference will be given to EHP alumni who graduated in 2017 or earlier.

In this unique fellowship position, the fellow lives at the Palazzetto Cenci and assists in facilitating the student experience while also providing key programmatic support to the EHP Director and Chief Critic. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Italy, preferably Rome, and the Italian art and design worlds. The resident fellow is intimately familiar with the program and its demands, and well equipped to provide both artistic and personal support and guidance for students during their time in Rome. Resident Fellows participate in critiques, field trips, and all other EHP learning activities and are provided with housing, a stipend, and an individual studio space at the Palazzetto Cenci in which to conduct their independent practice.

Deadline for applications for 2020-2021 is February 14, 2020.
